Orchard Professional Solutions Ltd are pleased to be working with a local, family business who specialise in personalised, high quality, luxury hampers and gifts who are looking for Packers to join their team to assist with the increase in production for the festive period.

As a packer in this role, you will undertake a variety of tasks to assist with the day to day production / packing of these personalised hampers.

​

Your main tasks will include;

• Using a simple online system to pick up recent orders

• Collecting stock to create gift / hamper

• Find the matching artwork / notes to match gift/ order

• Packing of a hamper / gift to a high standard (training will be provided)

• Boxing up of hamper / gift with appreciate protective packaging

• Labelling of boxes with shipping information

• Replenishing of stock on the lines to ensure orders can be packed within the timeframe

• Keeping an eye on stock / stock levels and where this is located

• Proactively communicate with colleagues and line leaders about any potential issues such as stock item running low

• Proactively assist others by checking stock levels and unpacking items to speed up the packing process

• Occasionally work on the end of boxing line, requiring you to collect completed hampers, pack them up and organise shipping labels

• Will be willing to move around the warehouse and learn different elements of the job to assist with delivery deadlines

• Will ideally have experience in a packing / warehouse environment

The role;

• Start date; 14th October

• Temporary position up to Friday 20th December.

• May include work up to Saturday 21st December

• 0800 - 1700

• Monday - Friday

• £11.44 per hour
