Orchard Professional Solutions are proud to be working with a local bespoke furniture business based in the Hull who are seeking an Operations and Sales Manager to join the team.

The Business

The client is a local family run business who design, manufacture and fit solid wood kitchens and interiors in the heart of Yorkshire for their high-end customers.
 

The Role

As the business is expanding and developing, they have identified the need for an Operations & Sales Manager to take responsibility of the sales strategy and factory processes. 

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the factory, paint shop, and showroom, ensuring smooth day-to-day running.

• Manage projects from manufacturing through to installation, ensuring deadlines are met.

• Provide accurate, timely quotes and track potential live works within the quote process.

• Maintain supplier relationships and ensure material costs remain up to date.

• Ensure internal processes uphold high-quality standards and on-time delivery.

• Issue reports to the Managing Director, tracking company trends and identifying opportunities.

• Order critical materials for manufacturing, ensuring a timely and cost-effective supply chain.

• Knowledge of factory prosses within joinery manufacturing to find solutions to any challenges

• Use of joinery experience to assist and support colleagues with manufacturing methods

Qualifications and Key Skills

• Must Joinery qualification

• Experience in joinery manufacturing

• Strong management skills, able to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Experience in quoting, forecasting, and driving business growth.

• A self-starter with a passion for improving processes and delivering results.

• Able to build relationships with suppliers, clients, and internal teams.
